Fail #147: Destroying Bens House

Hahahaha!!! Me and McGee destroyed Bens house when we went over to do out Phys Ed, this was the same time as the previous harmonica defeat had at the hands of veronica (Bens little brother).

So we got there and had to move his basketball hoop back a few meters to make room for proper basketball and in doing so ripped up his grass. Then before we actually video recorded we broke his backboard...well, McGee did...

SOME CAMWHORING SKILLZ BEING PRODUCED (without instruction)....HES A NATURALL!!!

But that wasnt the end. In shooting the "B-Ball" as it may be referred to by people (but ussually faggots), we...or McGee!!!...broke Bens mums garden feature lights (some could be fixed but he smashed atleast one beyond repair. (ben also hit some)...then what happened was i broke the backboard even more so we had no backboard in the smaller sqaure around the hoop.

Ben threw the ball to McGee and overshot it a little bit...the ball went over his fence and the next thing you heard was, "OOW!!!"...the noise came from an old man next door.

and we had a good time destroying his mothers plants as the ball occasionally ripped up and squashed pot plants. The last thing that was damaged and was bens fault happened when bens PUPPY had a sock in its mouth (maybe it wasnt a sock i cant remember) but after chasing the dog around for a couple of minutes ben decided it was time to take matters into his own hands and pelted a HEAVY basketball at his PUPPY dead in its PUPPY FACE!!!

And i couldnt face up to veronica so we took to locking her outside...

Fail #144: Thy Art Is Murder

"Thy Art Is Murder" is a band that i looked up because a person liked them and also liked what is my favorite band at the moment (has been for a while, well, competing for favourite band)....anyway, so i decided that this mans good taste in asking alexandria would be reflected in this band so i looked up one of their songs...youtube time!!!

Soooo....they arent much like asking alexandria, theyre heavier than crazy hardcore, maybe deathcore or just death or something (im not too knowledgable about the death genre or anything heavier than hadcore) and they are F%$KED UP!!!

oh and on a side-fail, asking alexandria might become a very popular band, and sometimes that can suck...only because i want them all to myself, even though i want them to have recognition...i dont want them to be just another band that everyone listens to...but i want people to know theyre awesome....its sooo difficult!!!

Fail #143: Re-Published Illustrations

I think i speak for most HP fans when i say...

...WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!?

I mean, what the fuck!?!?! I believe that these covers are absolutely horrible (and not in comparison to the old ones...just generally horrible) No offence to the Illustrator who was excited and honoured to do the covers, but they just dont suit harry potter for me (ive switched from speaking for all HP fans to just my opinion as it would be reckless to assume organised extended critism).

I think thyre boring, dull, passable in a bookstore, insignificant and weak, they arent powerful, captivating, imaginatively inspiring, nor are they accurate in how things are captured by readers through description and writting of Joanne's where the text is full of life and intricate movement (if you know what i mean). These covers are quite 'still' and 2D, though there is obviously depth in the illustrations as there are shadows and stuff, but 2D in the way that they arent alive and are kinda just 'stuck' there.

And im so upset about the text of "Harry Potter", the font thats used for it...its the least fitting thing on the cover...well, in contention for the least fitting thing. The other convention of the book that is crap for me is the white background. Not a fan. boring, plain, the illustration over it looks like coloured pencil was used...uuuuuuuuugh.

Well, its obviously an easy way to get money for bloomsbury. Lots of crazy fans will collect these covers even if they dont like them, simply because they are different, re-issues and are harry potter. I wont be one of those harry potte fans purchasing them. Sorry, shouldve left them alone. They have the next movie scheduled for release on the 19th of november and then the second part of it for 15th of july, i wouldnt have thought they would need to bring something else out to bring back harry potter when the movies are coming up. The only reason i can think other than making money (which is of prime importance im sure) is that they want a reminder or they want to 'reamp' the world for the movies.

Its really shitty...
